FAQs about Serbia Visas
The Serbian Tourist eVisa is a digital travel authorization that will soon allow eligible travelers to apply for and receive tourist visas entirely online. While the full eVisa system is not yet operational, applicants can currently submit their visa application online through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs portal. If the application is approved, a physical visit to a Serbian embassy or consulate is still required to finalize the visa issuance. Once launched, the eVisa will streamline travel by eliminating the need to visit an embassy.
Citizens from select countries who require a visa for Serbia may apply online via the MFA platform. While the complete list will be confirmed once the eVisa becomes fully operational, currently eligible applicants must still visit a diplomatic mission after receiving online pre-approval.
Processing times can vary but typically take 7 to 15 working days. It is recommended to apply at least 4 weeks in advance of travel. After initial online approval, you must visit a Serbian embassy or consulate to collect the visa until the eVisa becomes fully digital.

Not yet. Although the application process can now be started online, you are still required to visit the embassy to collect your visa.
